The following restaurants have completed the serving safely course:
Restaurants have endured the hardships brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic for a year now. Our members have pivoted to ensure survival, and now the biggest hurdle is upon us: The need to communicate to the public that it is now safe to return to and dine in our restaurants.
Most patrons want to see precautions used by restaurants to limit the risk of coronavirus spread when dining in, and to offer new ways of ordering food for off-premises consumption. The restaurant industry cannot stay in a holding pattern and let up on pandemic strategies.
Pent-up demand for dining out has only intensified over the past 11 months, to the point that more than half of all consumers want to get back to full-service restaurants as part of a night out—before going to the movies or hitting the mall (source: Dattaessentials COVID-19 Report).
Pledge Your Commitment, Earn Our Endorsement
GARC has launched a program to put consumers at ease when visiting restaurants, called “Serving Safely”. Restaurants that pledge to follow the “Serving Safely” commitment, will earn the endorsement of the program and be listed on this page. This will allow you to be able to communicate to your customers that it is safe to dine in!
